1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is MB Ekokompiuteriai (company code 304717027, address PM URMAS, Kaunas, Lithuania), operator of the online store pcplace.lt.
If you have any questions about your personal data, write to info@pctaisymaskaune.lt or call +370 604 02514.
2. What data we collect and why
Order fulfilment. When you make a purchase, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number and delivery address; when buying on behalf of a company — the company name, company code and VAT number. This data is necessary to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to deliver your order, issue the invoice and warranty document, and contact you about your order. We keep order data for 10 years (the period for which accounting documents must be retained by law).
Payments. Payments are processed by the payment service provider Maksekeskus AS (MakeCommerce). We do not see or store your bank or card details — they are handled by the payment institution under its own privacy policy.
Account. If you create an account, we store its data (name, email, addresses, order history) until you delete the account or ask us to delete it.
Enquiries. When you contact us via the website form or by email, we process the data you provide in order to reply (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep enquiries for up to 2 years.
Newsletters. We use your email address for marketing only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the link at the bottom of any newsletter or by writing to us — this will not affect your orders.
Statistics and advertising. Our website uses Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure traffic and advertising performance. These tools are used only if you consent to the corresponding cookies (see Section 4).
3. Who we share data with
We share data only to the extent necessary to provide the service:
- delivery companies (parcel locker and courier services, e.g. LP Express, Omniva, DPD, DHL, InPost) — name, phone number and address, to deliver your parcel;
- Maksekeskus AS (MakeCommerce) — to process your payment;
- our hosting provider (Hostinger), whose servers in the EU host the website;
- our accounting service provider — to comply with legal obligations;
- Google and Meta — only if you consent to statistics/marketing cookies. These companies may process part of the data outside the EU/EEA; such transfers are based on European Commission adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Cookies
Our website uses cookies:
- Essential — required for the cart, login and checkout to work. No consent is needed for these.
- Statistics (Google Analytics) — help us understand how the site is used. Used only with your consent.
- Marketing (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) — allow us to show more relevant advertising. Used only with your consent.
On your first visit you can choose which cookies you accept in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings or by clearing your browser cookies.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase your data (“right to be forgotten”) where it is no longer needed and we are not legally required to keep it;
- restrict processing and object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- data portability — receive your data and transfer it to another controller;
- withdraw consent at any time (for newsletters, cookies).
Contact us at info@pctaisymaskaune.lt — we will reply within 30 days at the latest. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt, L. Sapiegos g. 17, Vilnius, Lithuania) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
6. How we protect your data
The website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, only authorised persons have access to the data, and payment data is handled exclusively by a licensed payment institution. We keep data no longer than necessary for the purposes described in this policy or required by law.
7. Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced prominently.
